French door

The french door fridge is a stylish addition to any kitchen and LG’s french door fridges are no exception.

Each of the 3 LG french door fridges we sell comes with a total of four laterally opening doors, 2 for both the fridge and freezer sections respectively.

What’s more, these large-capacity fridges boast a multitude of features between them.

These include LG Inverter Linear Compressor technology, which helps maintain fresh products for longer, and in the case of the 570L model, a UV Nano, self-cleaning ice and water dispenser.

Bottom mount

LG has an excellent range of slim width bottom mount fridges.

Designed with the freezer positioned underneath the refrigerator unit, these fridges make chilled produce more readily accessible to the user.

With that in mind, the LG bottom mount fridge range accommodates all the functions expected of a modern refrigerator.

For example, LINEARCooling™ and adjustable humidity settings keep food fresher for longer, while a 2-step folding shelf can be manoeuvred to provide extra space when needed.

Top mount

Top mount fridges see the freezer positioned above the main refrigeration unit, providing convenient access to frozen foods.

LG’s top mount fridge range includes units that contain the same LINEARCooling™ technology and multiple air vents to distribute cool air evenly and keep your food fresh for longer.

Coming in a variety of sizes (279L – 516L), LG’s top mount fridges range is suitable for any household.

Side by side

The side by side refrigerator is perhaps the company’s most novel design and here at Gimmie, we sell two models of side by side fridges by LG, the 679L and 687L fridges.

While their total capacity is relatively similar, their exteriors could not be more different.

The 679L comes in an opaque, matte black (dark graphite) finish while the 687L fridge is stainless steel and contains an Instaview sleek glass panel; two knocks upon the panel, and the user can see into the fridge instantly.

While such additions feature solely for the latter fridge, the pair shares all the main functions expected of a modern LG refrigerator.

Surround cooling

Chilled air enters the fridge from vents at the rear and in the ceiling to keep a more consistent, cooled environment.

Door cooling

Vents located at the front of the ceiling cascade chilled air directly down onto produce kept within the door, maintaining freshness for longer.

LG ThinQ® app

The LG ThinkQ® app enables owners of a compatible smartphone to adjust the temperature of their LG refrigerator remotely, thus readying the interior environment for the receipt of larges volumes of produce.

Do LG refrigerators come with a manufacturers warranty?

Yes. LG upholds a 2-year warranty on its refrigerators in Australia.

Do LG fridges have reversible doors?

Not all LG refrigerators have reversible doors, however, models such as the LG 454L Bottom Mount refrigerator do have a reversible door function.

Are LG fridges energy efficient?

Yes, the majority of LG refrigerators have an energy rating of at least 3 stars (out of a possible 5).

What is InstaView on an LG fridge?

InstaView is a smart glass window featured on the 687L Side By Side refrigerator model.

With a tap of the hand, digital sensors enable users to see the contents of the fridge without the need for opening the door and disturbing the internal environment.
